Donald’s had a massive strop
If he could, he would put a stop
To everything from Norway bound
His dreams have crumbled to the ground.
And why? His heart’s desire denied
No fuzzy feelings, deep inside
He isn’t worthy, it would seem,
To crown his narcissistic dream
To win the Nobel Peace Prize, for
More worthy candidates, far more
Were shown to those who would decide
The winner, one who had complied
With what the award is all about,
Not some cosmetic twist and shout
Not stopping shooting, using threats,
Not treating other states like pets
Not exercising power because
You can, to generate applause
For such a one, they ought to bring
The Nobel Prize for bullying.
A simple honour, which consists
Of being dropped into tar pits
Stark naked, no, not leaves of fig
Whilst choking on his own blonde wig
That said, DT would not have been
The worst prize winner on the scene.
That’s Henry Kissinger, no doubt
A man responsible for rout
And slaughter in East Asia, through
Vietnam, Cambodia, East Timor too,
And for one flimsy peace accord
Was honoured with this great award
But not without upset, because
His winning gave some others pause.
Two Committee guys resigned
Vietnam’s Lê Dúc Tho declined
To share the prize with Kissinger
From which I think we can infer
His sheer disgust at sharing with
A monstrous hideous megalith.
So Donald – be assured, that tho’
The Nobel Prize has been let go
No life should rest upon the sizes
Of dreamed of, but ungotten prizes.
